Zipline in Cape Town is an absolute must do, with a choice of 3 very different locations, the views and the adventures are really thrilling and amazing.
The adventure begins with a brief safety introduction, guests will embark on a hair raising guided 4 x 4 drive into the mountain high above Constantia with a spectacular view of Cape Town. Cape Town Ziplines borders on the Table Mountain National Park Reserve, surrounded by the natural beauty, fauna and flora while walking and zip-lining between 12 platforms. The longest being almost 1/2 km long. Duration is about 3 1/2 hours a total of + - 3km of lines.The tour itself consists of 7 cables totaling one of Africa’s longest Zipline Tours with +- 2.3 kms in total. The highest cable from the ground in the canyon is 155 meters from the canyon floor. The first of 11 platforms and 7 long cables tower high in the mountain overlooking Cape Town – from this bird’s eye view you start your journey down a large canyon on a shorter cables (270 meters) in between the Cape Floral kingdom. Ziplining at Silvermist Estate above Hout Bay is actually suitable for families.

2. Cape Canopy Tours Elgin.
About 1 1/2 hours drive through the scenic Hottentots Holland Mountains East of Cape Town. This is a full day excursion & the actual ziplining about 4 hours on 13 lines over canyons and waterfall and about 2 km of hiking after the ziplining.

3. Ceres Zipline tours.
Ceres is a town about 2 hours drive out of Cape Town in the fruit producing area. The zipline slides (or foefie slides, as they are commonly known in South Africa), take adventurers for the slide of a lifetime over the Koekedouw River in the mountains that surround the scenic Ceres Valley. This region is known for its breath-taking rock formations, formed by the ancient, rugged Skurweberg mountain range of the Western Cape. Along the way, magnificent views of Ceres and the Ceres Valley can be savored. There are eight separate slides, with a total length of 1.4 kilometers. The shortest is 100 meters long, while the longest is an exhilarating 291 meters in length. The highest point is 40 meters above the ground. Cost from R1100 including water and juice.
