Michael Dillinger is a life long New Yorker with family roots going back to the 1840’s. Born and raised on Long Island, he has lived in Manhattan since 1974. Because of the close proximity of New York City Michael was able to take full advantage of its cultural institutions, striking architecture and vibrant street life. Helping visitors discover and fall in love with New York is my passion.
Whether you are a first time visitor hoping to see the usual major sites or someone looking for something a little different, I will create an itinerary for our time together based on your interests.
I am a licensed NYC tour guide and currently serve on the board of Guides Association on New York City (GANYC).
I've worked for several tour companies here in New York as well as providing custom, private tour for individuals and groups. I look forward to helping you discover the Big Apple.
"This time we were in New York City and Mike showed us around from the Bronx (Botanical Gardens and Poe's cottage) to the Statue of Liberty and the 911 Memorial Site. We loved Mike, not just because he was so knowledgeable about all things New York, but because he was charming, kind and introduced us to a great restaurant -thanks for everything, Mike!" - Carole,CA
"Michael was a great guide!! He is very knowledgeable and had connections that made our tour so much better!! The kids LOVED the water taxi and the crew!! We will definately use Michael again when we return to NYC!!" - Kim B.
